Welcome to Old Guard Riders Inc. Old Guard Riders Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(C)(3) public charity serving aging, homeless, disabled and disadvantaged veterans and their families. As members of the Old Guard Riders, we hold the deepest respect for the men and women of the United States military, past and present. We honor the sacrifices that they have made protecting our great nation and all that we hold sacred. We also recognize and are deeply concerned about the cost that so many veterans are paying for their service in the form of homelessness, severe and chronic illness, disability, hardship and suicide. Today, over 250,000 American veterans are homeless on the streets of the country they fought to protect. Over 2,000 WWII veterans are dying each day. Hospitals, nursing homes, VA facilities and other care providers are overwhelmed with ill and aging veterans. As many as 12,000 veterans attempt suicide every year. Tragically, an average of 18 war veterans kill themselves each day. It does not have be this way. You can make a difference! Serving America's Homeless & Forgotten Veterans
Old Guard Riders Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political organization and has no affiliation with any religious group, political party or governmental agency. Old Guard Riders Inc. dba VetAssist.us OGR is also located on the internet at www.vetassist.us "The
willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no
matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive how

Old Guard Riders & the Red Poppy
"We cherish too, the Poppy red Quote from poem by Moina Michael Inspired by the red poppies which
filled the European battlefields and cemeteries of WWI
Every American should see a poppy and instantly recognize it as a symbol for
veterans and the sacrifices they have made.

VetAssist.us In our efforts to assist aging, homeless, disabled, disadvantaged forgotten veterans, Old Guard Riders Inc. has actively solicited the endorsement and/or sponsorship of countless individuals, organizations and businesses. Using our legal name, Old Guard Riders Inc., there has been some confusion among our perspective partners concerning the nature of our organization. All to often we are perceived as a motorcycle club rather than a veteran's charity. In order to clarify our veterans 501C3 public benefit status, Old Guard Riders has filed for and been granted a "DBA" business name. Old Guard Riders Inc. is now Old Guard Riders Inc. dba VetAssist.us Please check us out at:
